Fourth Anniversary/Unsurprising Delays/BTW

First up, today is the comic's fourth anniversary! When I started this project I was still in high school, and now I'm a college graduate. It's weird how time passes.

Thanks to all my readers through the years, both for enjoying the comic and being patient with me. That being said, of course, I'm delaying the comic again. *sigh*

Here's the thing. I need to stop proclaiming when the comic will be back, because every time I do that, it takes longer than anticipated and I feel like I'm letting you down. Instead, I think I'll just stick to the motto of "it's coming when it's coming", and you can all rest assured that--ahem--UNLESS THERE IS A FORMAL ANNOUNCEMENT, THE COMIC WILL CONTINUE TO COMPLETION. So even if for whatever reason it takes six months for the next chapter, well, it's still coming, and that's just how long it took me to get it out in a way that feels natural and of a high quality.

This next chapter is actually coming along rather nicely. The pages that are completed look great in my opinion, and the storyline for the chapter (which I tweaked a bit to better pace the Lavaridge arc) is really exciting for me as a writer. The big factor really is that my temp job turned into a permanent job--which is totally what I wanted, by the way. I love it so much. It's just taking me a while to get my sleep schedule figured out to the point where I actually have enough time to do all the things I want to do. It's got nothing to do with the comic--I'm enjoying making pages, my tablet works fine, and I'm not experiencing writer's block. It's just that making money so I can move out of my parents' house kind of takes precedence over everything else.

So, yeah, I'll be back whenever I'm far enough along in the chapter to ensure daily updates.

Oh, one more thing! If anyone happens to be a US convention-goer, I will be attending Seattle's Emerald City Comicon as a patron, and Austin's RTX as a worker. Let me know if you end up at either one!
